Application of new design and calculation method to calculate vertical screw conveyor

Calculate the screw according to traditional methods not to mention the calculation of the effective parameters such as the effective radius, effective helical angle. To increase the efficiency of the screw, we can not ignore these factors. Based on the new calculation method of Emeritus Professor Alan W.Robert we decided digiai screw standing problem with the following parameters: A vertical screw conveyor elevator with a forced feeding system is used in an unloading operation. The screw diameter D = 0.5 m, shaft diameter Dc = 0.25m, pitch p = 0.375m, length L = 10m. The conveyor is to elevate coal of bulk density t/m3, N = 80rev/m, fill ratio . Inner diameter shaft Ri = 0.12m
